In terms of heating equipment, Türkiye also competes with Chinese enterprises for European orders.
Türkiye's geographical advantage, as well as its manufacturing development in textile and iron making, has also recently reaped a large number of orders for blankets and stoves from Europe.
The textile industry in the western province of uzak in Türkiye is developed. It is the largest textile manufacturer in Turkey, mainly producing blankets and carpets, with a daily production of more than 6000 pieces. Due to the surge in orders from Europe, more than 450 employees in the plant are now working in three shifts around the clock.
In addition, blacksmiths in Türkiye have begun to return to their old jobs, and many of them have been too busy. The reason is that orders for traditional heating stoves are coming this year, which are not only needed by local people but also from Germany and other European countries.
Depending on the size, the local price of the stove in Türkiye ranges from 2200 lira to 4000 lire (about 848 to 1541 yuan). Although the purchase of a new stove is an expense, compared with the high cost of natural gas, it can still save a large amount of money for low-income people in Europe this winter, so orders are pouring in.
According to British statistics, from April to June this year, the sales of stoves in the UK increased by 40% compared with the same period last year, reaching more than 35000 sets, compared with 25000 sets in the same period last year.
