According to the data of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Mechanical and Electrical Products (CCCME), from January to August, China's heating equipment to Europe totaled 497.53 billion US dollars (US dollars, the same below, S $7121.97), a year-on-year increase of 14.35%. In August alone, 22.54 billion corresponding products were delivered to the European market, with a total value of about 70 billion dollars.
According to the data of the China Household Appliance Association, the export volume of electric heaters and electric blankets expanded rapidly in the first seven months of this year, with the growth rate of electric blankets reaching 97%.
The import demand for electric blankets in various European countries is growing rapidly, and Greece, Italy, Poland, Germany, and the Netherlands are doubling. In terms of electric heaters, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, and Germany have strong import demand.
Cixi City, Zhejiang Province is China's largest exporter of electric heaters. Cixi Customs data show that from January to August 2021, the total export of heaters in Cixi City was 3.35 billion yuan (470 million dollars), including 1.53 billion yuan exported to the European Union, up 55.2% year on year.
According to the Federal Statistical Office of Germany, from March to July this year, Germany imported 703000 heating stoves, nearly two-thirds of which came from China, worth about 120.6 million euros.
