With the energy crisis, inflation and the cold winter, Europe is facing many difficulties this winter.

Following the indefinite shutdown of Beixi No. 2 in May, the "technical failure" of Beixi No. 1 in early September intensified the energy crisis in the EU countries. As early as late August, European gas prices were 10 times higher than the same period last year. The electricity prices of Germany and France are breaking the ceiling every day. The "one-year" electricity price has soared from 90 euros/MWh in the same period last year to a peak of more than 1000 euros/MWh today.

According to the Daily Mail of the United Kingdom, an expert has calculated that a 100 watt electric blanket with a rated power needs only 0.42 pounds to run for a whole night (8 hours), which is far lower than the price of heating. Lower power will save money.

In terms of selling price, on Amazon, the price of cheap electric blankets can be as low as about $20 (about 143 yuan), while the price of more expensive electric blankets is about 500-600 yuan. Although generally higher than the price on Chinese e-commerce platforms, it is still more cost-effective than using natural gas.

In addition, it is reported that in August this year, the inflation rate in the euro area reached 9.1%, a new high since 1997, and prices in various regions continued to rise.

At the same time, EU countries are still paying attention to the temperature this winter.

The latest forecast released by the EU climate monitoring agency Copernicus Climate Change Service shows that the overall temperature in Europe this winter may be higher than previous years, but there may be a cold wave at the end of the year. The American business weather forecast agency believes that Europe may be colder this winter than last year, and the temperature is even lower than the average of previous years.

It is precisely because of the above reasons that winter products made in China continue to sell well in Europe.
