Data released by the German Iver Institute of Economic Research on the 25th showed that after seasonal adjustment, Germany's business climate index in October fell to 84.3 points from 84.4 points in the previous month.
The data shows that among the four indicators that make up the business climate index, the manufacturing and construction indicators continued their downward trend, while the service industry and trade indicators edged up from the previous month.
Clemens Pfister, director of the Iver Institute for Economic Research, said in a statement on the same day that the interviewed companies were satisfied with the current situation of the industry, and although the expectations for the next few months have improved, they are still worried, "The German economy is facing a difficult winter."
