Lithium polymer batteries can be divided into three categories according to electrolyte:
1. Gel polymer electrolyte lithium-ion battery is a solid polymer electrolyte with additives to improve ionic conductivity, so that the battery can be used at normal temperature;
2. Lithium ion battery with solid polymer electrolyte, the electrolyte is a mixture of polymer and salt, which has low ionic conductivity at room temperature and is suitable for high temperature use;
3. The lithium-ion battery with composite gel polymer cathode material, with conductive polymer as cathode material, has a specific energy three times that of existing lithium-ion batteries, which is the latest generation of lithium-ion batteries.
