CCTV Financial News Under the circumstance of limited natural gas supply and soaring prices, in order to survive the winter, more and more Europeans are now seeking "solutions" from Chinese manufacturing. In this context, China's exports of heating equipment such as electric blankets and electric heaters have shown explosive growth.
In the small home appliance area of Yiwu International Trade City, Zhejiang, Xiao Wang, a buyer of a foreign trade company in Yiwu, is ordering a batch of hand warmers for German customers. In the store Xiao Wang purchased, the new heating products were launched in August, and there are still 1/3 of the heaters that are not on the shelves. The operator Yuan Chafang introduced that in the past, the hand warmers were mainly used for domestic sales, and a small part was exported to Russia. I did not expect a large number of European customers to come to inquire this year. Now the new speed in the store can not keep up with the rhythm of European customers inquiring about goods.
Not only hand warmers, but also various heating equipment such as electric blankets and electric heaters have been welcomed by European customers. In this regard, Ms. Zhu, an electric blanket operator, was very surprised. She has hardly received orders from European customers in her 26 years of business. Since May this year, she has received many orders from European customers.
According to Ms. Zhu, smart products have more functions and sell better in Europe. At the same time, in order to meet the needs of European customers, they need to translate the English on the temperature control switch into Italian, Spanish, French, German and other languages.
Customs data shows that from January to August, Yiwu exported thermal products, including air conditioners, heat pumps, water heaters, electric blankets, totaling 190 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 41.6%; from January to August, Zhejiang Province exported 6.468 million electric blankets, a year-on-year increase of 41.6%. An increase of 32.1%; among which, 648,000 pieces were exported to the EU, an increase of 114.6%. As the temperature drops, operators also predict that thermal products will usher in explosive growth in the future, and they are also actively learning more about European standards or CE certification required by the EU.
Customized heating equipment is popular overseas, and enterprises are busy making orders
While the demand for various new heating equipment continues to increase this year, export companies in the traditional heating radiator market, that is, the radiator market, have also been busy making orders in recent months, among which customized products are very popular.
